Material Characteristics

• Polyethersulfone (PES): Hydrophilic membrane with high flow rate, high flux, low protein adsorption rate and low elution. It is used to remove fine particles, bacteria, viruses and fungi from aqueous solutions. Generally, it can withstand a pH range of 3 - 12.
• Nylon: It has good chemical stability, flexibility, is durable and not easy to tear. It can withstand autoclaving at 121°C and is suitable for filtering aqueous solutions and most organic solvents, such as water filtration in electronics, microelectronics and semiconductor industries, tissue culture medium filtration, pharmaceutical solution filtration, beverage filtration and high - purity chemical product filtration. Generally, it can withstand a pH range of 3 - 14.
• Hydrophobic PTFE: It has the broadest solvent compatibility, excellent particle retention performance, and can withstand various sterilization conditions. It is suitable for both liquid and gas filtration. Generally, it can withstand a pH range of 1 - 14.
• Hydrophobic PVDF: The membrane has high mechanical strength and high tensile strength, with good heat resistance and chemical stability. However, it is not resistant to solvents such as DMSO, THF, etc. It is suitable for gas and steam filtration, as well as filtration of high - temperature liquids. Generally, it can withstand a pH range of 2 - 13.
• Polypropylene (PP): It has high impact resistance, strong mechanical properties and is resistant to a variety of organic solvents and acid - base corrosion. Except for being corroded by concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated nitric acid, it is relatively stable to other chemical reagents.
